"Singing to the Land" Workshop Series: High Falls Conservation Area, Philmont NY

High Falls Conservation Area

High Falls includes one mile of trail that winds through hemlock ravines alongside the Agawamuck Creek (“Creek of Many Fish” to the Mohicans), and to an overlook of Columbia County’s highest waterfall.

People are invited to an outdoor gathering circle where we take turns to offer our voice/instrument to connect with the land and the sounds of nature. We will start with a guided vocal embodiment and meditation practice of deep listening and presence.

This space is intended for people who are interested in developing their voices and documenting their medicine songs authentically, as each person's music will be recorded with high-quality audio equipment to be mastered and shared afterwards.

Sliding scale exchange for workshop attendance and audio processing.
